A safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine is a critical component of the United States’ strategy and international efforts to reduce COVID-19 related illnesses, hospitalizations, and deaths.

Over the past few weeks, Daus has collected a variety of treats and goodies from AOC members to include in this special holiday package. The care package includes homemade cookies, sunflower seeds, gum, pretzels, handmade cards, playing cards, candy and other special treats from home, bound to lift the spirits of our deployed members as we approach the Christmas holiday.
  • SMSgt Timothy Williams selected for promotion to CMSgt

    The results of the CMSgt Selection Board were publicly released this week and our very own SMSgt Timothy Williams made the list for promotion. While it’s difficult enough to achieve the rank of Chief Master Sergeant, the highest enlisted rank in the Air Force, only 518 of the 2,763 eligible were selected this promotion cycle, a selection rate of just 18.75%.

    1st Lt Cherry Murray, an SCO Flight Commander with the AOC, was recently selected as the AMC nominee for the Lance P. Sijan Leadership Award, an honor meant to recognize the highest quality of leadership among rising leaders within the Air Force. The Lance P. Sijan USAF Leadership Award was created in 1981 to recognize individuals who have demonstrated the highest qualities of leadership in their jobs and in their lives. It has become one of the U.S. Air Force's most prestigious awards.

    Dan Schultz, Combat Delivery Director for the 618th Air Operations Center, spends his last day in the AOC today, July 10, 2020, before retiring from a lifetime career of service.
